Low Carb Diet Assistant App Reviews

This app freezes on iPhone 6. The only way to unfreeze is to delete the app and re-install, thereby losing all custom foods and personal data. Emailed developer and got a "sorry, were working on it" response.

This is a very good and useful app, but it has problems. Every 3-4 days it freezes up and will not allow you to do anything. It is the only app I have that does this. The only thing to do is delete and start over, and in doing so, you lose all your info. Its a shame because with low carb dieting It would be very useful if it worked correctly.

This app is garbage. Check the nutritional information on the package of your food. Then enter same food into this app and it will be drastically different every time. I would consider this app to be dangerous.

Heres the deal. This app works great for tracking carbs. I love that I can input my recipes and their food database is decent. But after three days of using it the app becomes unresponsive and I have to delete the app in order for it to start working again. But because they dont back up your data to a database, i.e. Theres no sign in, I lose all of the recipes and the data that Ive spent time entering in. So until they fix this problem dont bother getting this app its a waste of three dollars.

It was a good app until it froze and wouldnt open. I had to delete it the re-install twice. Not happy at all. Dont install it!

The App needs an update so it wont freeze and crash on newer iOS!! Also, Needs to add atkins "net carbs" for their products. This used to be my favorite lc app but now I have to use Atkins, which has improved.

Have had this app for 1 week & its frozen 3 times; which each time has lost all data entered. Extremely aggravating!

This app was great and a big help but it is now frozen. I tried closing and reopening app but its still frozen. I hope I can get it back because it was really very helpful. Great way to keep track.

Keeps freezing after using it for a day or so. I have to delete and reinstall, losing all of my info! I paid for the sync and it is not working. I tried to email the developer and no response.

Any way to get a refund? Had this app now for 3 days & nothing but problems! App freezes up crashes and hard to use ! Save your money

Frozen on my screen wont do anything I want a refund asap!

I have been using My Net Diary for more than 10 years but am briefly on a low carb diet for which My Net is not ideal. I thought Id pay for this one since it had such high reviews but definitely not worth it and I deleted after 2 days of struggling. Its not easy to use, its food directory is small and very hard to input the amounts of food eaten. I do not recommended.

Should have read more reviews. Froze after about 4 days. Opens up to main screen and then is unresponsive.

UPDATE 8.10.16 - The app has frozen. I really dont want to delete and reinstall… I will lose all of my data! Any help out there? This app has an extensive food and restaurant database. I like being able to add my own custom foods and recipes. It would be helpful if it included the Glycemic Index within the app!

It seems Ive gotten ripped off. Fourth day of using it, is locked up and will not respond to any input. Ive tried restarting my iPad, restarting the app, contacting Technical Support, everything. After further research on this, it turns out they nanobits has had this problem for a year with multiple complaints. I want my money back!

So I started doing the Atkins "diet" and even though Ive used MFP for years (which is great) I wanted something more focused on carbs so I download this app. Unfortunately Im really disappointed that the food database is sooo limited and the fact that you cant scan barcodes to upload food items is really annoying because I dont want to or have the time to create a food entry for pretty much everything!!!

Was a great app, but as of this morning, totally useless. Locked up...and completely unresponsive Update: deleted app and reloaded. Worked fine for a few days then froze again. Lost all my info a second time. 0 stars. Dont waste your time

Same problem as everyone else. App crashes after 3 days and locks up. Must delete and reinstall to get it working again. Then it crashes again. Total waste of money!!

Where do I begin. This app was helpful to me for about a week & a half until it crashed and lost all my information. Such a bummer, especially since I was able to lose 6lbs in that period of time and wasnt able to add that entry which was huge for me. I attempted to upload the app again and it only worked for about 1 day, if that. I made a third attempt to reload the app and of course Im being charged $4.99 each time! Now I cant seem to be able to get a refund for at least the last two uploads. Not happy & need to find a better app for carb tracking.

I bought this app for helping me count my carbs daily. It worked fine for 3 days. Thats it. It will now open and nothing more. Will not allow entries whatsoever. Wont allow anything! So incredibly disappointed.
